To have a strong and committed OLAP-BEC community with the guidance of the Holy Trinity and the loving care of the Virgin Mary.
BEC launching and serving the lives of the parish community members particularly the least, the last, and the lost.
Short OLAP BEC history:
A former SSDM coordinator, Sis. Angie Panganiban was appointed BEC chair on June 20 and was inducted as one of the PPC officers and coordinators for the year 2004-2006. As the new BEC head, Sis. Angie was faced with great challenges. First, she had little knowledge about the BEC as well as planning its programs. Through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, she was able to surpass all the difficulties and was able to come up with different plans and programs.
As her baptism of fire, she went to the different mission areas in the parish like Mindanao Tulay, Gremville, Taurus and Capricorn, She invited them to attend the BEC meeting on July 4, 2004 at OLAP Ground Floor that was initiated by OLAP parish priest Fr. Mario Sanchez and PPC president Auring Limon. And the rest was history.
Team leaders were appointed for their respective areas namely, Leonida Mijares, Everyl Villadures, Annabelle Ochia, Armida Bordios, Eland Artiaga, Baby Sto. Domingo, Evelyn Fabroa, Ma. Mimilou Lagarse, Merly Caralipio, Josefa Dedla, Nida Defeo, Marivic Morta and Irene Aguirre.
Since its vigorous reorganization in August 2004 until January 2005, OLAP has created 42 Munting Kapitbahayang Kristiyano (BEC communities). |
