Vision:

The OLAP Family Life Ministry is fully committed to the spiritual care and growth of families, valuing the dignity of human life, participating in the development of the community and promoting the mission of Christ to His people, especially the poor.

Mission:

1. To empower families to become domestic churches and authentic members of Basic Ecclesial Communities;
2. To promote the sacredness of human life and the dignity of the human person;
3. To develop and implement effective and relevant formation programs for engaged couples and families that would enhance their knowledge, skills and attitudes; and
4. To make the family a faith community centered on Christ by promoting the Christian values of love, justice, peace and unity.

Goals:

1. To establish, develop and implement a comprehensive marriage preparation program to assist engaged couples to clarify their expectations about married life and helping them realize God's plan in marriage.
2. To provide a continuous formation programs for couples and families that will guide them through various phases of crisis-growth stages both in the personal and in the familial level.
3. To initiate and participate in programs and activities that will concretize the Christian values of respect for life, justice, love, peace and unity.
4. To touch base with the grassroots and initiate programs relevant to their needs and assist in strengthening the BECs in the parish.
5. To conceptualize and establish a family counseling clinic that would help individuals, couples and families in their family relationships.
6. To coordinate and establish linkages with family-oriented organizations, government and non-government institutions, communities inside and outside the parish, to maximize the potential of all resources, human and material, in support of the vision and mission of the ministry.
