Our previous parish priest, Rev. Fr. Mario S. Sanchez, said that the Worship Committee is the heart of the parish activities in OLAP.
The main function of the Worship Committee is to provide for orderly animated and meaningful liturgical celebrations, especially, of the Eucharist and the sacraments, and other para-liturgical activities in the parish center and in the different BEC Zones and mission areas; to promote the growth and deepen the commitment of the different liturgical ministries and organizations meant to enhance worship life; to promote devotion to the Eucharist and to the Blessed Virgin Mary, or particularly to the patron of the parish.
The Worship Committee coordinates with the parish lectors, commentators, altar boys, adult acolytes, ushers, Mass collectors, offerors, lay ministers and choir members to make the liturgical celebrations full of spirit.
This committee is composed of representatives from all mandated organizations. We meet every first Monday of the month to plan, execute, and evaluate parish activities related to our groups in coordination with the worship committee.
